Steve Nall
Steve has been with the company since its inception. As studio manager he is the "go to guy" whenever anyone needs assistance. Not only our head engineer, but quite a prolific musician and producer in his own right.  Steve is also a columnist for the statewide music publication Me Magazine. His sharp wit and keen sense of humor illuminates the Lexington Scene every month. Steve and Wil have been connected musically since 1986. He is the backbone and the heart of the L team.

Wil Freebody
As the old man of the L team, Wil started assembling the team in 1986. With forty years experience in the music business, Wil has worked with too many professional acts to list here. It will suffice to use this allegory to explain our boss.  Most people see the world as a half glass of water. They see it either half full or half empty. In Wil's world the glass is always  overflowing. We all know he feels blessed to have such a great team.

Mike Cooley
Mike has been a top piano player in the Lexington, Louisville, and Eastern Ky for nearly 30 yrs. He has a Masters in Music and has been both a choir and band director for 20 years. The natural dichotomy of his talents has him performing regularly in the local nightclub scene and on Sunday morning as the church organist. He serves on the Board of Directors for The Lexington School for Recording Arts.

Michael Thomas
Michael has been with LIRCo since 1995. Prolific songwriter, accomplished engineer, superb musician, all part of the persona that makes up MT.  However there is more. Michael is our most versatile producer. He captures the Nashville sound when called upon . Equally at home with both   or Contemporary Christian . The Heart of Rock n Roll is in Cleveland, and the heart of Michael Thomas is in Rock. Perhaps Michael's finest asset is his ability to get the most out of anyone he works with.  We feel fortunate to have MT as part of the L- Team.

Patrick Hairston
Patrick has been around the halls of LIRCo for a few years now, first as a student in the recording school and as an intern. 2007 marked his passing into full fledged instructor status, taking over the duties of instructing the students in the analog portion of the course. Hard working and always there to give a hand, Patrick has made himself a valued member of the LIRCo family.

Amber Sloan
One of Ambers many skills is her ability to disseminate difficult information in a fashion that is effortlessly understandable. This is what makes her Music Theory classes so popular. A graduate of Otterbein College in Westerville, OH as well as the Lexington School for Recording Arts, affords Amber uniquely productive and creative communication skills. She can often be observed working overtime with individual students in an effort to give them the extra edge needed in this competitive business we call music.
